Recruitment is a two-week-long process that takes place at the beginning of each semester. After a mixture of social and professional events, potential new members will complete an interview before a decision is made about their acceptance into the pledge process.

Recruitment event.

Pledging for DSP begins directly after the end of recruitment. The pledging process takes six weeks and introduces each prospective member to our professional fraternity. Our brothers help foster the professional growth of each new pledge by inviting them to our chapter’s semiannual professional trips, conducting resume workshops, and introducing them to different companies at our private career fairs.

Pledges also learn about the national fraternity and its values by completing five quizzes during their pledge semester. They foster group relationships by organizing their own pledge-led professional, service, and brotherhood events.
