The brothers of Delta Sigma Pi Epsilon chapter have made a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion so that every member feels welcomed and supported. We have implemented wellness training into our pledge process and welcome many speakers each semester to educate our chapter and support our Community & Wellness efforts.

Hello,

My name is Matt Douglas and I am the President of Delta Sigma Pi at the University of Iowa. I am so excited to lead Epsilon chapter of America’s Foremost Professional Business Fraternity. I welcome those who have come across our page and want to learn more about Delta Sigma Pi.

Delta Sigma Pi is a prestigious business fraternity founded on the three major pillars; brotherhood, service, and professionalism. Our vision is to be a lifelong community of inclusive leaders committed to creating a world where everyone can prosper in business and beyond. Through rigorous professional development programs, service events at local and national levels, and a strong, meaningful brotherhood, being a part of Delta Sigma Pi truly elevates your undergraduate experience.

Our opportunities and connections extend beyond collegiate membership and continue for life. From our 120+ exceptional members at the University of Iowa to our 300,000+ total alumni network, Deltasigs can be found in all corners of the earth. These connections foster immeasurable success for everyone. Internships, full-time job opportunities, and applicable leadership experiences are only the beginning of what you can pursue after becoming a member.

Becoming a member is your gateway to becoming your best self. Delta Sigma Pi’s culture and members are our greatest assets. Driven, hardworking, and innovative are just a few words to describe our members. Our organization is full of leaders, whether they lead the chapter on our Executive Board or Chair positions, or through their empowering characters. Our members engage in various organizations, study multiple majors, and achieve prestigious awards – the list is endless. This is all possible because of our culture and brotherhood. By surrounding ourselves with like-minded individuals who are all as ambitious as the next member, our accomplishments are limitless.

Entering my fifth semester apart of Delta Sigma Pi, I can personally attribute several accomplishments of mine to the skills and experiences gained from being apart of such an amazing organization. From the very beginning of joining you are surrounded by like-minded students who want to see you succeed both in the classroom and outside of it. Taking on the role of President is a significant step in my journey, and something I am beyond excited take on during this fall semester. Throughout my time in Delta Sigma Pi, I have learned what it takes to be a leader and the skills necessary to develop and grow both personally and professionally. Being apart of multiple executive boards and seeing upperclassmen collaborate, support one another, and inspire each other with ideas has helped me understand the leader I aspire to be. Now coming into my senior year here at the University of Iowa, I aim to be someone who can lead a successful chapter while building strong relationships with those around me. I take a great deal of pride in being a Deltasig and cannot wait for this semester to start!
